This up and coming boy group has not debuted yet. But as early as now, they are already a hot topic after a snapshot of the them rehearsing in SM’s practice room has leaked.

It wasn’t too long ago when SM Entertainment announced that they will be debuting a new boy group codenamed M1 pretty soon. And as you can see in the picture, they are composed of 7 boys who appears to be working really hard in order to perfect those moves.

According to various talks, this soon to debut group will also include in its rooster, S.M. The Ballad‘s Jino. Netizens who have seen the photo weren’t able to hide their excitement and eventually referred to them as ‘Land of Boys’ or ‘Boy’s Heaven.’

A photo of SM Entertainment’s upcoming boy band, nicknamed “M1,” has been leaked online and shows the 7 of the 9 rumored members practicing a dance wearing black clothing. It has been rumored that Jino, who made his debut with S.M. The Ballad, will also be a part of this group.

Netizens have already given the new group a nickname as the boy version of SNSD, giving them the name “So Nyun Chun Ji” or “Boy’s Land.” They have also identified the members in the leaked photo. 

The rumor is that there are 9 members in “M1,” however the leaked photo only has 7 members practicing, which makes one wonder exactly how many people will be a part of this new group. It may be possible that the group has been changed from a 9-member group to a 7-member group. 

SNSD went through 3 revisions before making their debut with the current lineup as a 9-member group. As many fans may remember, T-ara’s Soyeon and Coed/5dolls’ Chanmi had been in the SNSD lineup.

Jino has not been identified as one of the boys in the photo. Netizens identified the following members in the photo:

SM Entertainment has announced that a new boy band named “M1” will be debuting in March or April 2011. When fans heard this news, they immediately connected the name to the “female Girls’ Generation” that SM had been preparing.

The nine-member boy band had been dubbed “So Nyun Chun Ji,” or “Boys’ Land.” The rumored members of SNCJ include Jino, who already debuted through SM the Ballad. Others include:
Yoo Chiwon, who is rumored to have vocal talent matching Xiah Junsu,

Ryu Chao, a Chinese member,

Kim Jongin, SHINee Taemin’s friend,

Han Kyuwan (23), an internet ulzzang who failed to make either SS501 or Battle,

and Kim Munkyu (18), the trainee Lee Sooman likes the most.

However, SNCJ already have a lot of antis even before they have debuted. The boys had been brought to TVXQ’s Mirotic concert and had sat playing on their Nintendo DS in the VIP seats, to many Cassiopeian’s anger. They have also said on their Cyworlds that TVXQ, Super Junior, and SHINee were guinea pigs for their debut and that they could not debut because the three groups had not broken up. Some members have even cursed on TVXQ songs “Don’t Say Goodbye” and “Love in the Ice.” Even now, every post about them on Korean community sites are negative.

There have been rumors on Korean websites that SM Entertainment is going to come out with another boy band next year. The unofficial name as of now is 少年天地 (So Nyun Chun Jee), which could roughly translate into “Heaven and earth of boys” or “A lot of boys.” There will be 9 members meaning that it could be the male version of SNSD…
